ORWH recently added the new “SABV Primer: Train the Trainer” to its suite of e-learning courses. This e-learning course provides researchers and trainers within the biomedical research community the tools to account for and expertly teach how to apply the NIH Policy on Sex as a Biological Variable (SABV) in research and grant application writing. The course has six independent, interactive modules that cover a range of training settings, including in-person training, virtual training, and one-on-one training. This course aligns with objectives 1.1 and 4.1 of the 2019–2023 Trans-NIH Strategic Plan for Women’s Health Research.
ORWH has three other e-learning courses: “Bench to Bedside: Integrating Sex and Gender to Improve Human Health,” “Sex as a Biological Variable: A Primer,” and “Introduction: Sex- and Gender-Related Differences in Health.” All of the courses and videos are available at no cost to the public.
