Tracy Bale, Ph.D., headshotOn December 14, ORWH will host the Specialized Centers of Research Excellence on Sex Differences (SCORE) 2021 Annual Meeting. The SCORE program is the only NIH cooperative agreement program supporting disease-agnostic research on sex differences. Each center serves as a national resource for translational research to identify the role of biological sex differences in the health of women. At this year’s meeting, Tracy L. Bale, Ph.D., of the University of Maryland School of Medicine will present the keynote address, titled “Extracellular Vesicles as Stress Signals: Identifying Novel Biomarkers in Maternal and Fetal Health.” The keynote address is open to the public and will be held virtually on December 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. EST; the rest of the SCORE Annual Meeting is for SCORE investigators only. You can register for the keynote address event here. More information about the SCORE program can be found here.
