ORWH Announces Travel Awards for Two Junior Investigators to Present at The Menopause Society Annual Meeting in Chicago
ORWH is pleased to announce travel awards to support the development of two junior investigators interested in the study of menopause. This award will provide two junior investigators up to $3,000 each to defray the cost of attending The Menopause Society Annual Meeting from September 10 to 14, 2024, in Chicago. The scholars’ abstracts on a menopause-related topic must be accepted for an oral or poster presentation at the Annual Meeting in order to receive the award.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Must meet one of the following criteria: a baccalaureate or higher degree from any health-related discipline, be a medical student, be a postdoctoral trainee, be an American Association for the Advancement of Science fellow, be a medical resident, be a member of the uniformed services or National Guard, or be an investigator who is no more than 5 years past a doctoral degree or residency.
- Must be the first author on the abstract submitted to The Menopause Society for presentation at The Menopause Society’s 2024 Annual Meeting.
- Cannot be a federal employee.

Abstracts should be submitted to The Menopause Society by April 30, 2024. Interested applicants should check the box on the abstract submission form indicating their wish to be considered for an NIH/ORWH Junior Investigator Travel Award. Award recipients will be announced in July 2024.
