The NIH Office of Research on Women’s Health (ORWH), in conjunction with the Advisory Committee on Research on Women’s Health (ACRWH), is seeking comments from the scientific community, professional societies, and the general public to assist in identifying gaps in research and clinical practice pertaining to the following:

•    Rising maternal morbidity and mortality rates
•    Increasing rates of chronic debilitating conditions in women
•    Stagnant cervical cancer survival rates

Comments can include real-life experiences related to the above issues. The comments will help inform the upcoming event titled “Advancing NIH Research on the Health of Women: A 2021 Conference,” which will be held virtually on October 20, 2021. The conference is being convened in response to a congressional request for NIH to address its research efforts related to the above topics.

Submissions must be emailed to Elizabeth Barr, Ph.D., by September 15, 2021.
