Event Information

This Facebook Live Q&A panel discussion will explore the importance of women, particularly women of color, in STEMM leadership roles. The panelists will discuss their research and career paths, the role of institutions and mentors in helping to ensure women are provided the tools and support needed to excel in leadership roles, and how increasing the number of women, especially women of color, in these roles can help address health disparities and improve quality of care and health outcomes for all. Participants are encouraged to submit questions in these areas during the event and ask for advice on entering and advancing in biomedical and other STEMM careers.
