ORWH Biennial Reports
The National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) Report of the Advisory Committee on Research on Women’s Health: Office of Research on Women’s Health and NIH Support for Research on Women’s Health (Biennial Report) details the NIH-wide programs conducted to fulfill ORWH’s core mission and their accomplishments. The report also highlights research on the health of women and on the influence of sex and gender on health and disease that is supported by NIH institutes, centers, and offices (ICOs) and the NIH Office of the Director.
Current Report or FY 2021-2022 Report
New to the report for fiscal years (FYs) 2021 and 2022 is the section titled “ICOs’ Crosscutting Integrative Topics in Research on the Health of Women.” The new section details ICOs’ collaborative efforts on crosscutting areas related to the health of women and highlights examples of programs in those areas. These efforts are aimed at bridging research gaps, enhancing the impact of research support, and offering novel approaches to accelerate biomedical advances that improve health outcomes for all women.
