business meeting

The journal Women’s Midlife Health recently began a series of reviews and webinars on structural racism in the medical field. The series will include a consideration of the health care of incarcerated women, discussion of midlife health disparities identified by the Study of Women’s Health Across the Nation (SWAN), and an interview with Vivian Pinn, M.D., the first full-time Director of ORWH.

This series also includes two 1-hour webinars featuring series authors discussing their research. A video recording of the first webinar is available on the Women’s Midlife Health website. The second webinar will take place on October 28 and will feature research findings from SWAN, supported by grants from the National Institute on Aging, the National Institute of Nursing Research, and ORWH. There is no cost to attend this webinar, but registration is required.
