The Specialized Centers of Research Excellence (SCORE) is a signature program of ORWH, and the only NIH cooperative agreement program dedicated to disease-agnostic research on sex differences. Each center functions as a national resource for translational research aimed at understanding the role of biological sex differences in women’s health. These NIH-supported Centers of Excellence are crucial hubs for research on sex differences that also provide pilot funding, training, and education.

The SCORE annual meeting is by invitation only, however, the Keynote presentation is open to the public. Dr. Jill B. Becker, Research Professor, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, is the keynote speaker on, “Integrating Sex Differences Research into Advancing Women’s Health”.
