Save the Date.
The meeting will bring together NIH Implementing a Maternal health and PRegnancy Outcomes Vision for Everyone (IMPROVE) awardees, past and present, as well as the wider maternal health research community and community partners to recognize the initiative’s achievements to date. The event also aims to foster dialogue and information sharing among the research community and discussion about possible future directions for the IMPROVE program.
NIH launched the IMPROVE initiative to support research to reduce preventable causes of maternal deaths and to improve health for women before, during, and after pregnancy. The program includes a special emphasis on health disparities and on populations who are disproportionately affected by maternal death and severe illness.
The event will include presentations and perspectives from leaders at the Maternal Health Research Centers of Excellence, the Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx®) Tech for Maternal Health Challenge, the Connecting the Community for Maternal Health Challenge, and the IMPROVE Community Implementation Program.
Please join us to celebrate 5 years of the IMPROVE initiative’s progress!
During the registration process, please indicate if you plan to attend in person or via Zoom. In-person participants may join us on NIH’s main campus. See Getting to the Meeting for more information.
