Advancing Research on Chronic Conditions in Women: Report Release Webinar
Date and Time
– July 10, 2024, 12:00 PM EDTVirtual Only.
Chronic health conditions are the leading causes of illness and death in the United States, but impact women and men differently in ways that may hamper the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and management of these conditions in women. An expert committee of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) wrote a report to describe current gaps in the science on chronic conditions in women and propose a research agenda.
NASEM will host a public release webinar where members of the committee will provide an overview of the report’s conclusions and recommendations and answer audience questions.
