ORWH developed and implemented ANSWHR (PA10-226), an R-21 funding opportunity co-sponsored by 23 NIH Institutes and Centers, for extramural investigators interested in all areas of women’s health and sex differences research. Breast cancer, colon cancer, reproductive health, diabetes, obesity, human papillomavirus, cardiovascular disease, chronic pain, endocrine disorders, microbial exposures across the lifespan of women, mental health, and a range of neurosciences research projects are examples of the research covered in the ANSWHR awards.
