The Intervention Research to Improve Native American Health (IRINAH) program was created to develop, adapt, and test the effectiveness of health-promotion and disease-prevention interventions in Native American populations. Three Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs) were developed to support this program: R01, PAR-23-298; R21, PAR-23-299; and R34, PAR-23-285.

• Explain the goals and objectives of the NOFOs  
• Highlight what is new with the IRINAH NOFOs relative to prior IRINAH NOFOs, including the addition of an R34 mechanism and nonresponsiveness criteria
